Panglong Agreement: Defining Palong Agreement, Panglong Promises and Panglong Spirit
Following the landslide victory in the 2015 polls, the National League for Democracy (NLD) dubbed the Union Peace Conference from the previous government to the “Union Peace Conference – 21st Century Panglong. In response to this, the Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs) published this paper aiming that the public and the concerned parties to Panglong understand the Panglong Spirit, Panglong Promises and Panglong Essence.
